This family owned business is run by Reto and Dorothy Kramer. Dorothy, who is president of Product development, listens to her customers and makes sure she provides the products that customers are asking for. Reto, who is the Software Engineer, makes sure the website is updated with all the newest technology. He also insures that it is running smoothly and securely for all its customers. Both of them believe that “A company is only as good as its employees”. One of many reasons why they have been so successful for over 10 years.
Environmental and Social Responsibility
They take this responsibility very seriously. All of their packaging is made with recyclable materials, and all of their products are Cruelty Free and not tested on animals. Also, they only support suppliers that follow this socially responsible agenda.
And, all of their formulas are free from Parabens, Gluten, Oxybenzone, DEA/MEA/TEA or Propylene Glycol.
Giving Back
Because of their strong social beliefs, Coastal Scents believes in giving back to the world. They launched a Partnership called Project Ghana. In a small African village near the Capital of Ghana, live the women of the Nuna Village Cooperative. They produce extremely high quality, all natural skin products.
Formed in 2008, a team of hardworking American volunteers, launched this partnership to provide these rural Ghanaian women a foundation to generate a family income for their children’s schooling and give them dignity in their daily lives.
